Właśnie tymi trzema słowami mogłabym w pełni określić siebie, gdyby ktoś chciał, abym zrobiła to w telegraficznym skrócie. Dlaczego? Uciekam od szarej rzeczywistości. Marzy mi się kolorowa przyszłość tętniąca życiem, wielka miłość niczym z komedii romantycznych oraz ogromna garderoba, dokładnie taka jak w "Diabeł ubiera się u Prady" :) I co najważniejsze - wierzę, że tak właśnie będzie. Nie wydaje mi się bowiem, żeby człowiek taki jak Walt Disney, który tak wiele osiągnął, mógł rzucać słowa na wiatr, mówiąc: "Jeśli potrafisz o czymś marzyć, potrafisz także tego dokonać". Niewątpliwie musi coś w tym być. Dlatego też chce zacząć realizować jedno ze swoich zamierzeń i stworzyć tego oto bloga. Pełnego moich przemyśleń odnośnie aktualnych trendów i mody, bogatego w to, co mnie inspiruje i dzięki czemu wpadam na coraz to nowsze pomysły. Nie zabraknie także moich własnych stylizacji i fotek z sesji zdjęciowych. Ogólnie wszystkiego po trochę. Ważne jednak, że wszystko będzie trzymało się głównego tematu - tak fascynującej nas mody! :)

These are the three words by which I would fully describe myself, if someone ever wanted me to do so in a telegraphic form. Why? I like to run away from the everyday boring reality. I dream of a colorful future bursting with life, that one great love portrayed in romantic comedies, as well as a gigantic wardrobe, exactly like the one from "The Devil wears Prada". What's even more important, is that I believe that this is how it will be. I am not mistaken, because for a person such as Walt Disney, who achieved so much, I doubt he would speak idly, saying: "If you can dream it, you can do it." There must be some kind of undoubtable meaning to that. This is why I also want to realize one of my dreams and create this blog here, full of my thoughts concerning current trends and fashion, enriched with my inspirations, thanks to which I come up with even newer ideas, including my own sets and photos from photoshoots. A little bit of everything, but more importantly, everything will revolve around the main topic: the fascinating world of fashion! :) 

L'appétit pour la mode

                 Apetyt na modę... Skąd właściwie taka nazwa? Wydawać by się mogło, że pomiędzy modą a jedzeniem istnieje kolosalna różnica i nijak te dwie kwestie się do siebie nie mają. Nic bardziej mylnego! :) Jak wszystko tutaj, tak i nazwa nie jest przypadkowa. Co najważniejsze, do obydwu kwestii idealnie pasuje powszechne powiedzenie "Apetyt rośnie w miarę jedzenia". Gdy zasmakujemy czegoś wyjątkowego, na stałe wpisuje się to w nasze menu i wracamy do tego, gdy tylko mamy ku temu okazję. Oprócz tego szukamy nowości i stale zgłębiamy temat. Podobnie jest z modą. W momencie, gdy na dobre zaczynamy się nią interesować, nie ma już odwrotu. W pewnym sensie się zmieniamy, odkrywamy siebie na nowo, a moda przestaje być czymś zwyczajnym i zarazem niesamowicie odległym. Staje się prawdziwą pasją, a z czasem wręcz sposobem na życie. Przyjrzyjmy się choćby Włochom, którzy słyną z tego, że smakują każdą chwilę - dosłownie - dokonując coraz to nowszych kulinarnych odkryć, jak i w przenośni - wiele podróżując, zwiedzając, w pełni wykorzystując uroki codzienności. Podążania za trendami i dobrego gustu w zasadzie też nie można im odebrać, ale to Francja wiedzie prym wśród światowych stolic mody. Słynie bowiem z wyjątkowego wyrafinowania, wyszukanych wzorów, a także z tego, że jest niezwykle "chouette" - elegancka, śliczna i szykowna. Nikomu nie trzeba przecież tłumaczyć kim są takie ikony mody jak Chanel, Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent czy Louis Vuitton. Każdy, kto choć trochę interesuje się tym tematem z pewnością nie raz słyszał te oto nazwiska. Wszystko to tworzy wokół Francuzów pewną magiczną aurę i jest ogromną wizytówką dla ich kultury i całego kraju. Dlatego właśnie to oni mnie zainspirowali i dziś mogę powiedzieć, że "Apetyt rośnie, gdy życie nabiera smaku". A moje dzięki modzie takie właśnie się stało :)

                        An appetite for fashion...where exactly did this name come from? It would seem that there exists a colossal difference between food and fashion, and that neither of these things have anything to do with one another. Like everything here on this blog, the name is random. More importantly, both of these things suit the universal saying  "Once you start, you can't stop." When we taste something unique, this something inscribes itself permanently into our menu and we go back to it, when we happen to have a chance. Other than that, we search for new things and constantly immerse ourselves in the culinary world. This behaviour is similar to that of fashion. When we  permanently become interested by it, there is no return. We change in a certain manner, rediscover ourselves, and fashion stops being something ordinary and unbelievably distant. Let's take a look at the Italians'  fame due to the fact that they savour every moment - literally - making new culinary discoveries, as well as figuratively, by traveling, discovering, and taking full advantage of the everyday charms of life. Good taste and following trends are two things that in essence, one cannot take away from them, but it is France that leads the way among the fashion capitals of the world. Famed due to their one of a kind refinement, sophisticated patterns, and also due to the fact that it is extremely "chouette" - elegant, beautiful, and chic. Surely fashion icons such as Chanel, Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent or Louis Vuitton need no explanation. Everyone who is at least remotely interested by fashion has heard these names repeatedly. All this surrounds France by a magical aura and serves as a huge showcase of their culture and entire country. This is exactly why they have inspired me and why today I can say that "Once you start, you can't stop." Thanks to fashion, this is exactly what has happened in my life, and I'm ever so happy that fashion became and continues to be that one thing I cannot stop from affecting me :)
